ADET Energy

Welcome to the Australian Diversified Energy Transmission Project

Taking Australia to a 100% clean renewable generation future sooner

Welcome

Our aim is to connect the four corners of the country whilst systematically opening vast new areas suitable for large utility scale renewable developments in central, eastern and Western Australia to accelerate the uptake of clean energy faster and more effectively than ever before.

The Project

The Problem

Current network is constrained through capacity and location to bring Australia into 100% clean renewable energy quickly and affordably.

The Opportunity

To build the missing pieces of the network with modern harmonious HVDC technology and open up vast new clean renewable energy sources that are time shifted, geographic and weather pattern independent, providing a robust and reliable outcome for all Australians.

The Solution

A fully integrated efficient network that connects WA with SA and SA with QLD, NT and NSW through HVDC transmission. This will open up development of large utility scale clean renewable energy projects in WA, SA, QLD, NT and NSW to power Australia well into the future.

The Benefits

-) Modern efficient reliable transcontinental interconnection
-) Time-shifted renewable generation
-) Geographically diverse generation
-) Independent weather zone generation
-) Best use of existing network and generation
-) Accelerated phase out of dirty old coal plants
-) Accelerated uptake to fully clean energy future
-) Avoid islanding of SA and QLD
-) Massive industry growth and jobs in regional areas with the potential investment in system transmission and renewable generation to top $30b-40b over the next 10 to 15 years

The Challenges

-) Environmental and regulatory approvals
-) Establishment of economic benefits
-) Financing
-) Government and stakeholder engagement
-) Locking in key project partners
-) Educating industry parties

Project Status

We are currently in discussions with potential project investment and technical partners regarding investment structure opportunities and OEM equipment technical capabilities for this project. In parallel we are in the process of feasibility optioneering and cost benefit analysis as well as beginning engagement with key stakeholders. We know that there are many interested parties that we may not have spoken with to date, so if you are interested in this project on an investment or technical basis and would like to find out more about working with us please feel free contact us.
